Timaru District Council staff are inviting the community to join them in observing the national two minutes’ silence tomorrow at 1.32pm to mark the one week anniversary of the Christchurch terror attacks.

Where customer safety allows, staff at every council building and facility throughout the district will be gathering outside to support this commemoration to those who lost their lives, and to show solidarity and respect for all people in our country, irrespective of their religious beliefs, and the whole community is welcome to join us.
