This site is designed to provide online services and information about Timaru District Council and its services to the ratepayers and residents of Timaru District.
How to find information on this site
This site is divided into various categories, based on the services that the Council provides. The categories can be selected using the top menus, with the full page list for each section on the left side of every page. Clicking on one of these links takes you to the relevant page or a landing page where further information is linked.
If you cannot find what you're looking for, try using the search tool or the advanced search tool at the top of every page of the website. Type a word or words into the search tool at the top of the page click on the search button (magnifying glass). In the advanced search tool, select the database you wish to search (website, cemetery, property, application), include the relevant information and click search.
You can share a page with anyone by clicking the 'Share' tab at the top of every page and including the relevant information.

Accessing PDF files
Most of the documents, forms, brochures and information sheets are published in PDF format on the website. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view PDF files. This can downloaded for free at the Adobe website .
