We’re pleased to note that all samples of Timaru water now well under the discolouration levels for Manganese and the area of the intake causing the issue has been isolated.

As they are no longer required, we’re now removing the final tanker from the site at Aorangi Park.

As we want to keep a reasonable amount of water on hand in case any issues arise, we’re keeping level 1 water restrictions in place for a bit longer.

Thanks to everyone who did their bit to conserve water, you were a huge help in getting things back to normal.
