An extension to the Taumatakahu Track has recently been completed. This section of track is 850 metres long and links Murray Street with the Milford Clandeboye Road to the north and east of the cemetery.

Across Milford Clandeboye Road to the south is another track which follows the stream before turning west to the south of the golf course and continuing to Torepe fields. An alternative route is along Domain Avenue under the mature trees on the Domain frontage.

The track is an all weather shingle surface with a substantial concrete bridge spanning the stream. Stream side planting will also ensure a soothing link with nature.
