At this point roads are still open but we recommend driving with care.

Our contractors have this morning had graders out in the Rangitata Gorge; Te Moana, Taiko and Sterndale Valley areas and the snow plough is out in Geraldine township.

There is now an additional grader working in the Geraldine area and an additional three graders are on standby.
