With the easing of COVID restrictions, and to help meet a growing demand for parking in Timaru, Timaru District Council will be reintroducing parking charges at all metered, ticketed and pay as you leave car parks from Monday 22 November.

As well as taking cash payments, people can also use the PayMyPark app for all surface parks in Timaru.

All parking charges remain the same and usual exemptions apply. Free, time restricted parking will still be available above Kathmandu and along Stafford Street.
