The Timaru District Community Awards for Individuals were presented by Mayor Damon Odey at a special ceremony at the Council Chamber on Tuesday 5 July.

The Council takes this opportunity to acknowledge individual members of the community who have given significant voluntary service for the benefit of the Timaru District.

The 2016 recipients of the Timaru District Community Awards for Individuals are:
