What is the Pleasant Point Strategic Plan?
In October 2023 the Pleasant Point Community Board adopted the Pleasant Point, Cave and Surrounding Areas Ten Year Strategic Framework 2023 - 2033.
Developed through community consultation between 2022 – 2023 and generating over 500 responses, the strategic framework sets out the Community Vision with a series of projects that seek to retain and improve the current lifestyle of the community over the next ten years.

- Retain, maintain and enhance local infrastructure, facilities and amenities.
- Retain or improve connection with the wider District.
- Protect the pleasant residential character and rural landscapes.
- Create a resilient safe and secure community (town and country).
- Maintain and grow community participation and connection.
- Promote local history and identity.
Protect the rural and small-town economy and ensure sustainability.
