Due to some changes, Meridian has decided to postpone the planned work at Aviemore Dam, originally scheduled for 27/01/2025. As a result, Aviemore Dam Road will be fully open on this date. We will keep you posted with the new dates.
Section 7: Kurow to Duntroon
Due to recent weather the Waitaki River has shifted toward the trail between Otiake River and Otekaieke River, causing a short stretch to become sodden. We are working on a solution but in the meantime you may need to walk your bikes through.
