Helicopter Line

The Helicopter Line is New Zealand's leading helicopter company, operating with a fleet of AS350 squirrel helicopters based at Mt Cook, Franz Josef Glacier, Fox Glacier, Queenstown and Fiordland.

For the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail transfer from Glentanner, options are available for 5 passengers + 5 standard bikes or up to 4 passengers + 4 Ebikes. Bike racks are purpose built for the helicopters, securing bikes within rather than underneath.

Bespoke Bike Tours

Based at Lake Takapō, BeSpoke Bike Tours can design your Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail tour based on your timeframe and budget, offering package tours between October and April.

BeSpoke Bike Tours specialises in small group tours with a maximum of eight people. We have flexibility around tour planning. We can do it all for you, or you design your tour, rent our bikes and avail of our shuttle service. We also offer a relocation service for your vehicle along the Trail. We have a range of options for you to choose from on the trail, specialising in the Alpine trail sections.

Inflite - Mt Cook Skiplanes & Helicopters

Mount Cook Ski Planes & Helicopters have over 65 years experience flying around Aoraki/Mt Cook and Westland/Tai Poutini National Parks and landing on the iconic Tasman, Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers.

We proudly support the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail as Trail Sponsors from your starting point on the Trail at the White Horse Hill Camping Ground through to Braemar Road. Let us fly you and your bikes over the Tasman River to continue your journey. A fantastic way to see the Trail from the sky, the beautiful landscape and Aoraki Mount Cook in the distance.

Make us an integral part of your Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail journey. Cycle the trail from the official start at Aoraki Mount Cook Village to our base at Aoraki Mount Cook Airport. Check in for a short but fun flight across the fast flowing Tasman River for continuation of the trail at Tasman Point.
