Ombudsman Public Survey

01 Jun 2023

#COUNCIL NEWS

The Chief Ombudsman is conducting a self-initiated investigation to determine whether a number of councils’ practices and decisions or recommendations made to hold meetings, workshops, briefings and informal meetings, are reasonable, correct and consistent with the legal provisions and purposes of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) to publicise and hold council meetings in public.
The Chief Ombudsman is interested in the public’s views and experiences of Timaru District Council’s meetings, workshops, briefings and informal meetings.
The Chief Ombudsman would appreciate your feedback via a public survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9ZRHX7J
This survey will be open until Friday, 2 September 2022
